新入学のご案内

Please start the transfer process using this form.

Please read our admission requirements carefully before submitting your application.

Please prepare a photo of your passport and Japanese Association membership card.

Please apply using the transfer admission form. After receiving your application, our school office will send you an email with instructions on the transfer admission procedure.
Our school accepts transfer students throughout the year, regardless of whether it is at the beginning of a new school year or a semester, so if you are interested, please contact us.

Information on the 2025 3rd semester simultaneous transfer entrance examination

1. Target audience: 1st grade elementary school students to 3rd grade junior high school students (all grades)

*However, for sixth grade elementary school students and third grade junior high school students, transfer from schools other than those specified in Article 1 of the Fundamental Law of Education of Japan (Article 1 schools) is not permitted.

2. Acceptance of transfer applications

(1) Please read the MJS Handbook and if you agree to the admission requirements and other matters, please apply using the application form .

(2) After receiving and confirming your application, our school office will send you an email with information regarding the transfer procedure.

 

3. Schedule of the Transfer Examination

(1) Date: Monday, January 5, 2026, in two sessions

*However, if you cannot attend on the above dates, please contact us.

This will be an individual consultation.

(2) Part 1: Parent Information Session (online meeting at home, etc.)

・Date and time: 8:30-10:00

・How to participate: Online meeting (ZOOM meeting) *Participate from home etc.

(3) Part 2: "Transfer Admission Examination" *Face-to-face examination at school

Location: Manila Japanese School, classrooms, etc. Contents and timetable


① Registration: 12:45-12:55 ② Written test and interview: 1:00-1:45 PM ③ Result announcement: 1:50 PM ④ Explanation by grade level teacher: 1:50-2:10 PM ⑤ Purchase of gym clothes and formal wear: 2:10 PM ~ *After that, everyone will leave ⑥ School bus related matters: 2:45 PM ~ * Bus test drive (only for those who wish to participate)


(4) Test content: Your child must have Japanese language skills and learning ability appropriate for their age and grade level.

① For elementary school students: Japanese and mathematics (2 subjects)
② For junior high school students: Japanese, mathematics, and English (3 subjects)
③ Interview: Conducted after the written test
*Please bring writing utensils such as pencils and erasers on the day.
*In the case of international marriage families, a meeting will be held between the parents and the school principal.

4. Pass/fail results

The results will be announced immediately after the exam is over .

5. Transfer date *Start date of school

Third Term Opening Ceremony: Wednesday, January 7, 2026
