新入学のご案内

Please use this form to begin the transfer process.

Please read our admission requirements carefully before submitting your application.

Please prepare a photo of your passport and Japanese Association membership card.

Please apply using the transfer admission form. After confirming receipt of your application, our school office will send you an email with instructions on the transfer admission procedure.

Our school accepts transfers throughout the year, regardless of the beginning of a new school year or each semester, so if you would like to transfer, please contact us.

 

In addition, for families wishing to transfer to our school from the beginning of the first semester of 2025, we plan to hold a simultaneous transfer entrance examination as detailed below.

Information on admission procedures for new and transfer students for the first semester of 2025

1. Target audience: New elementary school 1st graders to new junior high school 3rd graders (all grades)

* No procedures are required for families who will be taking the new school entrance exam on Thursday, January 30, 2025.

2. New transfer application acceptance

Please read the MJS Handbook and, if you agree to the admission requirements and other terms, please apply using the application form .

② After receiving and confirming your application, our school office will send you an email with information on the new transfer procedures.

 

3. Schedule of Transfer Entrance Examinations

・First session: Thursday, April 3, 2025, two-part system ・Second session: Monday, April 7, 2025, two-part system

*However, if you cannot attend on the above dates, please contact us .
 

[Part 1] "Parent Information Session" (online conference at home, etc.)

Time: 8:30 to 10:00

[Part 2] "New Transfer Examination" (Face-to-face at school)

(1) Time: 13:00 to 13:45

 

(2) Location: Manila Japanese School, classrooms

(3) Test content: The purpose is to check your child’s Japanese language ability and learning ability appropriate to their age and grade level.

・For elementary school students: Japanese and mathematics (2 subjects) for about 30 minutes

・For junior high school students: Japanese, mathematics, and English (3 subjects) for about 30 to 40 minutes

4. Results

The results will be announced immediately after the exam is completed .

5. Next year's schedule

First semester opening ceremony: Thursday, April 10, 2025
・Entrance ceremony: Friday, April 11, 2025
